Blogdimension API now released!
Blogdimension has just released an API (Application Programming Interface).
The Blogdimension API makes it possible for a distant system (website, service, widget, etc.) to establish a communication with Blogdimension and to use its data.
We released an API in the frame of a partnership we are currently establishing with a European leading mobile service (we will disclose this partnership later).
Blogdimension’s API main functions enable to:
- Search into Blogdimension’s blogs, microblogs, forums and online news feeds index,
- Carry out advanced search: by source location (country where the blog is hosted), language ie. 22 languages at the moment, etc.,
- Apply site filtering options like sorting the results by hostname, domain, extension (TLD, top level domain ie .com, .net, .fr, .cn, .jp, .es, .ru, etc.), blog title, blog description, post title, post content, post category, post author…
- Display the results in XML format,
- View Blogdimension results (links) in partner’s application.
Of course, the partners can adapt the layout to their own look & feel.

A partnership with Blogdimension implies that the logo “Blogdimension” appears when Blogdimension results are displayed on partner’s website. Also the user should arrive on Blogdimension’s website when he clicks on a link provided by Blogdimension’s API. Voilà!
Blogdimension’s index contains millions of feeds and links pointing to tons of blogs, Twitters, Jaikus, Tumblr, news feeds, videos, podcasts… from everywhere in the world.
